Rule of Law (Quarra / Todd / Open) Empty Rule of Law (Quarra / Todd / Open)

At the appointed hour, in one of the heavily controlled lobbies of the Grid, Quarra waited patiently for the programmer that Link had recruited. In the brief work that they had done so far, the security guised user had managed to impress the Cyber Agent, both with his knowledge and skill in how he was able to manipulate the Grid for his use. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she was starting to think about the possibility of actually stopping Worm, utilizing Blink's information, Link's skill as well as the talents of the others. Nevertheless, she was still wary, all the more so about the idea of actually bringing someone new on board just so that Blink could corrupt him. She still did not trust Blink in the slightest, though in law enforcement, she knew sometimes you had to make a pact with a demon to get to the devil. This would be her first opportunity to meet up with the newest part of the team while Link was away working (she thought surprisingly) on something else as so she had chosen a private lobby that did not carry with it the same risks as meeting somewhere deeper into the virtual city, past the firewalls and other obstacles that guarded the true inner workings of the grid. And it was here that she simply waited for the young programmer to arrive.

This wasnt Datas first time on the grid, in fact he already met most of the members that Link introducted him to but that was more of a test run. He knew it would only be a matter of time before he would get to know everyone and today was the day he was going to meet up with Quarra. Once he was logged in he glanced around the lobby that seemed relatively empty at the moment. Data quickly checked his coordinates before cautiously making his way towards the spot where the female was suppose to meet him. Apparently as a programmer the world he was in would soon be under his control; the only thing stopping him was understanding the actual coding.

When he was in the first time, there were numbers and codes that seemed to run everywhere. To data, it seemed very Matrix like. Experienced programmers would be able to manipulate those codes and even add some of their own; the problem was.. how? As Data started his journey, he saw someone waiting for him patiently. This user however wasnt hiding her face, in fact she was pretty enough that Data already gave off the impression that he was nervous.

"Q-quarra.. right?" Data called out, his own suit glowing blue to show that he was indeed a user.

Rule of Law (Quarra / Todd / Open) Empty Re: Rule of Law (Quarra / Todd / Open)

Quarra simply nodded and tilted her head a little bit towards the boy. "You're young," she said simply to the young man as a slightly amused smile crossed her face. She crossed the lobby towards him with smooth movements, placing a hand on her hip as she moved. "I knew that they were looking for someone who had been untainted by the system. But there is something you have to understand... The moment you set foot here, you accepted all of the responsibilities and risks of allowing yourself into the system." She reached out a hand in a commanding way. "Let me see your disc..."

Once Todd handed the disc over, she held it out in front of her and was able to see everything Data had done while on the Grid, but nothing else, not even something as simple as an IP address. "You installed Link's security software. Trust it. It will protect your true identity if this disc ever falls into the wrong hands," she explained, handing the disc back. "And, that said, don't ever give your disc out again. That disc is a record of everything you've ever done in here. If someone gets ahold of it, while the security software will protect your true identity, it may be possible to literally undo everything you did in here, or worse, stamp your name on something which might corrupt the system. Don't ever give up your disc."

"Now," she immediately started to launch into her next lesson for the boy to follow. "You must understand that this place can sometimes seem like the wild west in terms of lawlessness. The security apparatus within the system is only as good as the person writing it, which means it can also be over written and, on occasion, completely retasked. But that does not mean that there are no laws. In fact, laws you break here can follow you the rest of your life. Have no doubt about cyber crime... it will catch up to you if you cross the line, got it?"

"Dont let anyone get ahold of my disc.. got it." The boy repeated back and looked over to see the item in his hand after Quarra finished examining it, it was actually really amazing! The device in his hand recorded everything he did in the cyber world and from what he already learned; the grid was more than just a game. In fact, if what Link said was true; it could decipher the well beings of the people in the real world. In a way it was sad that people had to rely on technology now a days, but if it werent for technology they wouldnt be able to do every day errands. Everything would be back to its primal stage without computers and like it or not, the future needed things like this. The future needed protectors from people like worm and Todd couldnt believe that he was chosen for a task like this.

When Quarra continued to explain the rules of the place he shifted his disc onto his back and started to casually follow her with a curious exrpesssion. Though it couldnt be seen behind his helmet; his mannerisms of him admiring the private hall showed that he was indeed new. " What happens if you die here?" Todd asked, maybe there would be a respawn. The programmer had no idea that life in the cyber world was precious; if caught by the right programs and terminated he would no longer have access to the digital world.

" and.. what do you do exactly? Like, what role do you play ? Link mentioned that he was forming a team to against Worm... I mean, this is Worm we're talking about. Hes a digital terrorists; even the CIA and Professionals cant track him down. What makes you think we can?"

"If you're killed, make sure you take your disc with you," she replied, giving the Noob a sidelong glance. "If you are killed with your disc, it's like you never existed and you can create a new avatar. But... if you are killed and your disc survives, then you won't be able to access the Grid again. And, worse, everything that you do on the Grid can be undone. Even if we manage to capture Worm with your help, if your disc is recovered by someone with nefarious purposes, they could even possibly bring him back into this world." She stopped and looked at the young teenage avatar with a serious expression on her exposed face.

"This world is both like the other world, and not. Yes, the person I'm talking to is only an avatar of your real self, but that doesn't mean that the loss of your avatar would have no effect on you. It is possible in fact that you may have difficultly with the use of technology in the real world. It has been heard of from avatars lost in the Grid have forced their users to create entirely new identities. Bank accounts, email addresses, domains, digital signatures... it's possible that they could all be compromised. That is the reason that most users do not know about the Grid itself. Most users, at best, are touching along the outskirts, delving into the connections, or maybe glancing at the coding on the outermost levels."

"I am a government agent working for the FBI's Bureau of Cyber-Terrorism Prevention. I have been tracking Blink and Worm for quite some time. Once they worked together. That is the reason we stand a chance; because Blink has made a deal to deliver Worm, whom, I have to say, is the far greater threat. As for what I do? I patch the system and help remove minor bugs. That includes to your avatar. It's not perfect, and I can't rewrite the system itself, but I can help eliminate the flaws in it," she offered before nodding back towards the boy. They came up upon a solid wall that was in front of them. "Time to see what you can do... get us through this wall, Data..." she instructed, watching him with a look of curious amusement.

" You work for the Bureau? " Data asked with somewhat of a surprised tone from his question and followed the female until they got to a wall. " So your totally Legit? Links got everyone working on this together doesnt he? People from the government.. hackers, holy hell thats some serious stuff." The young boy replied and stared at the wall that Quarra was refferring to. " So from the sounds of it, your patching can help Avatars or .. even the codings in here if its infected? Sorry to put it in lamer terms but I just want to understand it; your kind of a like a medic? Since you can patch up information thats been damaged I mean."

After his ramble he stared back at the wall and looked around cluelessly. There wasnt a door, how were they going to get through that? " what did you.. want me to blast it or.. something?" The noob reached behind him to hold onto his disc and upon contact it started to glow a bright blue, there was no way that could break the wall. Unless she ment to create one?!

"Kind of," she admitted with a nod. "That's what Enigma calls me; DigiDoc," she said, unsure if it was supposed to be a joke or not. "But I should caution you, having me around does not guarantee survival. And, as I said earlier, this is not a place where you are granted infinite replayability, so I still urge you to use caution."

She turned back towards the wall that he was attempting to destroy through blunt force. "That could work, however what you are doing is damaging the code. You have to remember that you are a programmer; you have the ability to make this world suit your own needs." She gave him a sidelong glance to deliver a sort of hint. "Try putting your hand on the wall... See if you can change the code instead of destroying it..."

Data listened carefully and slowly turned to look at the wall in front of him, it was a mere obstacle. Quarra was right; blunt force would damage the code but what were the capabilities of a programmer? Cautiously, he raised his hand and placed it on the wall. Once he planted his palm against the surface he himself could see codes ripling from the touch. " ..do you see that?" Data asked, unaware that only programmers would be able to see the coding. " It was a ripple effect." The young user added and pulled his hand away. When he did so the codings slowly faded.

The programmer pursed his lips from within his helmet and then slowly moved to plant his hand back onto the same spot. " I am a programmer.." He told himself with a firm tone. " I have the ability ot make this world suit my needs.." Upon repeating what Quorra said, he started to see the codes rippling out once more. All of which were patterns and combinations. As he focused on the codes, they all began to glow and fuse within each other and within seconds the wall he touched began to expand outward from his touch and in front of them was now a door. It was sloppy due to the first time dong it, but it was large enough for both he and Quarra to walk through. " ..did you see that?!" Data snorted and pulled his hand away. " ....hmm" Data took a couple steps back and placed his hand on the floor, the coding of the ripples could be seen once more and within seconds he raised his hand to bring up what looked like a small pillar. Curiousity got the best of the boy as he stomped his left foot, while he did so he again saw the same codes. " ..its everywhere" Data muttered and started to observe the lobby, there were codes in every direction!

"I don't know. When you affect this world, you are the only one able to see what you are doing until you have completed your tasks," she stated, a slightly impressed look crossing over her face at the sight of the door. "Everything here is digital. Even you are a digital interpretation of yourself. Therefore, you have the ability to shape this world however you see fit."

She led the way through the door, this time into a lounge where several figures were milling around, some having drinks, others dancing and others still lounging around with one another. "The catch is... that you're not the only one. And while there are some creations like that wall that have no common master, for other things, the person who created the item or structure will defend it." She nodded towards a man at the far end of the bar, dressed all in white with heavy sunglasses covering his eyes. He looked like he easily could be a statue but for the small movements he made with the beat of the music. "Try to change the properties of his drink," she commanded, giving the boy a slightly teasing look that both told him he should go for it, but at the same time warning him to be careful.

Data followed Quorra into the new room which resemebled somewhat of a lounge, the programmer was impressed on the general atmosphere but was slightly confused of its purpose. "Are they all users or programs?" The boy asked with a inquisitive tone, the grid was defenetly interesting. When
Quorra gave him the task to change the mans drink he peaked over at the female with his head tilted.

"..but you just mentioned that certain items have common masters. If I change the property of the drink that belongs that... program.. wouldnt it defend it?" The young boy asked and glanced over at the glass he was drinknig, from within his helmet his eyes narrowed to see the codes swimming around the glass. The boy felt his fingers tingling and from afar he focused on where the codes were located; within seconds the binary digits began to phase in with each other and the drink actually exploded rather than changing properites. " shit"

Quarra tilted her head a little bit, watching the boy's reaction as the figure dressed in white stood up and gave Data a curious glare through his sunglasses. "It's difficult to say. It would be easy if all users dressed like you an me. But they don't. Link, for example, disguises himself as a security program, but in fact, he is far more than just a security protocol. The fact that he was willing to meet with you face to face shows the heart and trust he has in you." As she spoke, the figure continued to approach with slow, determined steps, even though the agent didn't seem to be at all worried. "But even assuming everyone who looks like us is a user is a mistake. People cannot be in here all of the time, so many of them create Bots... programs that are designed to work in the world while they're away. They handle business dealings, interactions... things like that."

The bright white figure was now less than 3 arm lengths away from them. "The point is you can't possibly know what is a program, and what is a user until you try to change their code..." She watched as the figure suddenly turned away from them towards the bar and grabbed another drink before sitting back down with it as if nothing had happened. "...Or... unless you observe them. Users have a mind of their own, they can think and make choices. Programs," she nodded over towards the man who did nothing to acknowledge her, "On the other hand, do exactly what they were meant to do. Like this guy. He's a program a colleague of mine wrote to help train new initiates. It doesn't matter what you do to his drink, he will always get up to get another one. But he has no regard for how comfortable he makes you feel while doing it." She gave the young programmer a raised eyebrow look. "You can try it again if you don't believe me..." she teased slightly.

Rule of Law (Quarra / Todd / Open) Empty Re: Rule of Law (Quarra / Todd / Open)

Post  Foxtrot Mon Jan 30, 2012 4:46 am

When the bot made his way over the programmer instantly got in a defensive stance, he held his arm out to block if he was going to swing at him while his other was reaching for his disc behind him. When the bot turned to just get a drink he continued his position with a confused gesture. Slowly he stood up straight and gave Quarra a tilted look. "...no I believe you." The programmer muttered while placing his hands on his hips. " Thats interesting.. bots, theyre designed for just a specific purpose..."

The curious user made his way passed the female so he was able to observe the bot from before. "...What if" The programmer reached his hand over and firmly placed it on the bots shoulder. With a steady position the bots codes began to mix up. Symbols and Digits were being scrambled from within its core and with the correct combination he reprogrammed the bot to go around and collect every glass in the room. If the bot were to do as its programmed to do; the programmer was going to see if any others would respond to the change. If others went to the bar to retrieve a new glass your able to influence a whole room with a single change. That would give a certain advantage in the future; especially if you were able to find shortcuts.

Post  Delta Mon Jan 30, 2012 4:37 pm

Quarra watched as the boy went into the program itself and start changing it up. The figure got up and, exactly as reprogrammed to do, started to move around the room and collect glasses. It started with just the first person who got up to go get a new glass, then the second, but the third reached up and punched the program in the face for taking his drink, causing him to stumble backwards and crash into a table. As the scene before them descended into chaos, a red suited program entered and immediately began to search for the cause of the disturbance. Quarra nodded towards Data and then towards a nearby wall. "I think it's time to go," she indicated, her tone going somewhat serious.

"Small changes can help you, but you have to look at the ramifications of larger changes. The reprogramming you did was fine, but it had negative effects on other programs. Because of that, security is going to take him away and he'll be derezzed so that he can't cause massive damage," she explained. She didn't sound in any rush to get out the door, but she wanted to be sure the lesson was properly learned.

"And if that had been a user, the results could've been worse still. I told you earlier that it's difficult to tell who is what, and it wasn't until I told you that he was a program that you knew for certain. There is... one way to tell if someone is definitely a user or not. But, that's something that's beyond my expertise..."

"So.. i literally just sent that bot to his death when I did that didnt i?" Data snorted and quickly followed Quarra out from the room. He peaked behind him once more to get a good view of the chaos, in a way it was amazing on how much control he actually had. " What about the security programs? can they be reprogrammed too? you know.. maybe use them to our advantage if we're going after worm?" The programmer knew he still had alot to learn but why not strategize while on the way.

" Maybe our numbers dont have to be limited while we're in the digital world. " Data added, there was probably an explanation to why that wouldnt work but he figured to throw out all the necessary questions. " and whats the plan when or if we ever do find worm? Are you going to detain him? Since you know.. your with the FBI and everything.. speaking of which; you think Id be able to get a job with the FBI for the future? My dad mentioned something about the computer field?" The sophmore side of the user came out as he continued to patiently follow the patcher.

As she pushed through the door, they proceeded down a long hallway that appeared very utilitarian, even for the digital world. There seemed to be no decorative code allowed into the structure at all until they opened up into another chamber, this one more pristine and clean than the club was. "Slow down," she implored to the young user, smiling towards him nonetheless. She liked his enthusiasm. "Why don't we make sure that you know what your doing first."

As they entered the chamber, it looked much more analytical... like it wasn't an area most users would go. A figure was standing near what appeared to be a large data cube with a data link already plugged in. "This is the central processing core. Or... at least a copy of it. As I was saying, there is one absolute way to know users from programs. Blink found a way to... hack his way into the core and access the Master User Database. It's the system that takes a user's command and handles the system response to it. Apparently, the master database can show you exactly who the core is sending information to, marking them as the users." It was a complex hack and one she certainly hadn't agreed with, but Link had convinced her that speed was of the essence and that once they go after Worm, they would need to be able to move quickly. And if it was the sure way to access the system data, it was worth it. She led Data over towards the figure and nodded. "Blink...." she introduced, giving him a quick look. "I believe Data needs to be linked up to the database..."

Post  Foxtrot Thu Feb 02, 2012 2:40 pm

Data didnt hesitate to follow and obviously accepted the fact that Quarra was there to help him. Thats why he was there right; to learn about everything and train for the upcoming fight with Worm. When they left the designated club Data observed how mute everything was compared to the room they were just in. The young boy kept quiet, knowing that if he were to talk he would miss something important. When the two users finally made their way into the room he eyed the cube in the middle; and even though his expression couldnt be seen within his helmet the boy was more than amazed. " The central processing core." Data repeated and caught a figure making their way towards them.

"About time." Blink snorted and turned to give the two a smirk. The hacker was dressed a little more nomadic than anyone else; his face was hidden by shadows and his eyes were glowing blue to show that he was indeed a user. " Give me your disc." He said reaching his hand out towards the young boy.

The young boy stood there with his fist slightly curled, when Blink asked for his disc he simply looked over towards th girl to see if it was okay.

"..well?"

"Qurra said to make sure my disc is protected."

"heh. I guess she is good for something." Blink commented and took a step back so he gestured a hand towards the core. " It needs to read your disc. That way we're always connected to each other. Think of it as your initiation to the group.. without the hazing."

"oh goody" Data replied simply and finalyl reached behind him to pull out his disc, once held the dim disc started to glow brightly. When he came closser to the block he held it out and saw the disc glowing even brighter. As he stood there and allowed his data to be saved; his suit started to react to the link. It wasnt long before he saw a grid layout within his helmet visor and ping dots to where his team mates were standing. " Whoa.. "

" Welcome to the guild." The hacker teased and nodded towards both the users. " its time to learn about the programs." He turned to lead the way out of the room; at first it looked as if he was going towards a wall but as he got closer a blue light outlined what looked like a perfect door that eventually lead them to a city. " welcome to the array, a city within the grid. " Blink gestured his arms out and saw futurastic cars and motorcycles zooming passed the roads; the part of the city they were in were full of advertisements that could be found in the net. Jockey, Burberry, Kenneth Cole, Intel.. it resembled tokyo in a way. " You see all the people walking about?" Blink asked in a nonchalant tone. " Programs, they were designed to do a specific job. If something stops them from doing that job, security takes over and corrects it."

" All of them are programs?" The boy asked and walked by a crowd of people, all of which dressed like them in black spandex and glowing outlines. " What kind of jobs are you talking about?"

"monotanaeous tasks. They wake up, go to their job. Do what they have to do.. come home and do the same thing over and over again. its the only way of making the system work."

"..wait, that sounds like the real world."

"And thats why your mind is open. We're all opressed Data. Thats what the programs are designed to do.. the ones who break out of it.. are users."

"And yet the users you speak of still come to live out their lives in a virtual world," Quarra reminded Blink with a sidelong look. "Being a user does not necessarily make one more 'evolved'. There are scum users out to alter the system for their own gain, there are others who are looking for some escape from reality, like a drug, and still others who feel liberated by the Array's possibilities while in their average lives, they live and work to barely eek out a living," she explained, feeling that it wasn't so black and white as Blink made it sound.

She looked out over the vast expanse of the city before them, placing a hand on her hip. "But in a sense, Blink is right. Every society is governed by rules. It doesn't matter if it's a family, or a nation, or a computer. The rules are supposed to ensure some sort of order. And despite what revolutionaries..." she gave Blink a quick glance, "Might say, it's the only way to avoid a state of anarchy. And history shows that even true anarchy doesn't last for long before finding some sort of rules to live by. As humans... as users, we have a need for order."

Slowly, she allowed her gaze to move away from Blink and towards the Noob. "The difference here, is that you can change the rules to suit your needs... just remember that others are doing the same thing, and if you alter the rules too much, the system disintegrates into a chaos that it cannot handle."

"so its one of those.. order of balance kind of things? " Data asked with an intrigued tone, in a way it was kind of an eye opener. All the programs around them lived off their digital lives not knowing the possibilites of doing anything else. If they were to rebel against their purpose; they would be threatened for deletion. The programmer was starting to wonder if the security programs would attempt to stop him since he wasnt a program; but the fact that the others werent trying to hide from the public; data figured that if he kept a low profile he should be fine.

"bright kid" The hacker snorted and peaked over to give Data a small grin. " keep asking questions.. thats how your going to learn." Blink added and turned a corner. " Watch your programming and hacks; If there happens to be a security program near by they are and sense it; your going to be a target until your out of range. " As the hacker finished his statement he waved his hand in front of him and within thin air codes and binary digits could be seen. A progam window appeared from the hack and portrayed a map of the city; red dots started to ping on and off in designated areas.

"whoa.." Data was surprised by the sudden window and curiously looked at it. " whats this?"

"Shows where the nearest security programs are" The hacker said simply and turned another corner until they found themselves on another busy street. " and bingo.." The hacker came to a halt and gave the other two a mischevious grin. " So pop quiz; why should you watch your progamming and hacks again?"

The noob stayed close to the others, he made sure to listen carefully and tried his best to remember the key lessons. When he came to a halt with the group he eyed the security program taht was glowing red; he was stationed in one spot and kept a watchful eye out. " because...youll be a target?"

"until?..."

".....until... your.. out of.. range?" Data asked with an unsure tone.

"good.. so get out of range." The hacker thrusted his hand outward towards the security program and underneath the terrain glowing binary codes and digits could be seen reacting. Within seconds, a ditch was created and the program fell into it." Good luck." With that he patted the noob on the shoulder and started to run the oppposite direction!

"wait.. what do you mean good ~ " His jaw dropped from within his helmet, once the security program fell into the hole the bright lights around them dimmed to a red color and from afar more security programs could be seen running towards their direction. " Shit!"

Quarra could feel the test coming up. Just something about the way that Blink was 'teaching'. In fact, when he started his pop quiz, all she could do was roll her eyes and resist the urge to make some sort of smartass comment. It was only seconds before the world was rent apart and the security agents started to chase after them. She turned and started to run, ensuring that she stayed at the back of the group so that Data didn't get captured in the chase! "Remember, you can make the world work for you," she called out to the Noob. "But don't do anything that'll attract more security!"

ZoOoOoOm. The sound of discs whizzed through the air and started to bounce off from the digital walls of the buildings. Another flew swiftly and actually sliced Datas arm, causing his color to flash from the impact.

"Arghh!" The boy winced from the pain. He tried his best to keep his focus up but the damage from the security program was starting to infect his avatar. From within his helmet he eyed his arm only to see it slowly starting to change the color of his suit. " What the?"

"Uh oh" Blink snorted and kept pace with the other two. " Hey Quorra? How about making yourself useful and patching him up huh?" The hacker chuckled and saw another red disc flying their way. The hacker reached for his own disc and allowed it to activate; once it started to glow a bright blue he used it to swat the disc away and forced it to return back to the guard. Blink knew he could defeat these guards easily, but the exercise was more for the noob. " You better think of something Data"

Quarra rolled her eyes again, thinking that the test was quite a bit, very quickly. "Hold them off," she instructed as she reached out for Data's arm and squeezed it tightly in her hand while her other hand moved up the arm to patch the corrupted data. "Now you know why we avoid security," she instructed towards the Noob. It took several seconds to fully repair the arm and she let go, stepping back, letting Data lead them on. "Come on, time to go," she said, raising a brow at the delay. For better or worse and despite her opinions on Blink's methods, now wasn't the time to worry about that; now was the time for Data to show how well he could manipulate the world. Or... how fast he could run.

"That feels weird" Data muttered back and peaked behind him to see the guards catching up. Once his arm was patched he was able to move his fingers freely once more; it was odd when the disc hit him.. it almost felt like it was starting to freeze or paralyze his limb.

" Its going to be worse if they catch you, now get us out of here" Blink instructed with an annoyed tone. " Cause let me tell you.. security comes in packs. Its a bitch to get out of when they surround you"

"What?!" The noob yelled out. " what do you mean they come in packs?" He eyed the road in front of them and from afar he could see another group of red programs running towards them. " shit!" Data gritted his teeth and knew that it would only be a matter of time before they would be trapped. " How do I just.. get us out of here?!"

" Think! " Blink yelled. " do SOMETHING!"

"but wha~ alright ALRIGHT!" The new user let out a grunt, he was completely aggrivated with the situation but he recalled the lessons he learned with Quorra. He turned to lead the two towards a building without anywalls, the doors and windows were probably located on the other side but to them unfortunetly was nothing but a blank palet. As he picked up his speed he threw his hand out and created an blue outline of what he tried to make a door. "argh!" He pushed it through with his shoulder, forcing it to open before rolling in to see that he was in a warehouse of some sort.

" not bad.." Blink snorted and ran in after him, once he was in he came to a halt and tilted his head at the noob. " now what?"

Quarra followed along behind the group, keeping them within her field of vision even if it exposed her a little more. Once they made it into the warehouse, she looked around, her eyes landing on Data in a sidelong glance. "Put some space between us..." she told him as a hint, already hearing the heavy footsteps coming at them from behind the door they had just entered through!

"put some space between us?" Data repeated from what Qurra just said and realized exactly what he needed to do. When he saw the figures of the security program rush over he instantly reached his hand out towards the created door and in a quick motion deleted the alterted codes. From the other side of the wall; the sounds of thuds could be heard from the programs crashing in a reinforced obstacle. Data couldnt help but grin a little from the sound before turning to lead the two in a sprint and threw his hand out at another wall to create another door frame.

"Looks like your starting to get it." Blink called out with a chuckle, he gave Quorra a side long glance before returning his attention back onto the nooob. The programmer wasnt bad; he was a fast learner and to the hacker that was a good thing. The hacker had to deal with noobs in the past that really slowed him down; but deep inside he knew that people had to start SOMEWHERE.

Another door was created and eventually lead them out to their exit. The programmer found himself in an alley way; the sound of the digital traffic could be heard from down the way and most importantly the ambience lighting was blue. " ..I think we lost them."

"Good" He patted the young boy on the shoulder and now started to walk away from the two. " your next lesson is going to be combat. Enigmas going to meet up with you tomorrow and work on it. Dont be late.... OH.. and if you decide to stick around the city to look around yourself?..Just be careful. "
