"mmm.. good shit." Robin held in a burp since he didnt want to be much of distraction for the small meeting that was in front of him, thanks to his brilliant planning of finding alcohol; he was able to meet with the odd yet very helpful stranger they met on ground zero. He acted weird, the proper style didnt really fit in when it came to being refugees but he guessed you couldnt really help that. Like Faith, she was this butch hardcore chick who happened to be the only eye candy when it came to the team. Why werent there more girls? Oh yeah.. girls were useless. heh. The young man was sitting in teh corner of the so called 'strategy' room, towards the middle of the table was a large map of Vegas along with pins and figures to show where they salvaged.

" Your running low on resource.. and from what I gathered; your holding the remaining survivors here. You may be safe from the Zergs at the moment, but its only going to be a matter of time before you starve yourself to death."

"Thats a problem we're very aware of." Mateo answered with his arms crossed in front of his chest, he welcomed any survivors to come down to the undercity if they seek shelter. " But our main concern is the numbers we do have; we're unable to transport them to a safe spot."

" I understand that your doing this to protect them, but staying here will lead everyone to their doom. There is a colony in Laughlin. I was able to help a group of survivors from Reno get there. If you wish; I'll offer it to you too. But its going to take alot of work, not only you but the people who are survivors need to contribute."

" Not many can fight dude" Robin called out with a doofy grin, he was buzzed. " You saw the kid we were with earlier? He can turn into a rat. thats it"

" Superiors are no longer the superior beings here.." Viktor answered Robin with a calm expression, his bright eyes watching the drunk carefully. " ones who can hold a weapon will need to do so."

"What like a draft?"

"We took you..." Frank snarled towards Robin. He still didn't exactly forgive him for trying to go through his stuff. Again. "Anyway... we take all the risks for these people... why shouldn't they help out a little?" he asked. He was standing with his back to the wall, arms crossed over his chest and his permanent scowl etched over his face.

"It only makes sense. There's no way the six of us can get the entire population out of here. And Viktor's right... eventually we're going to run out of everything. Some things we can just cut down on, but others... we can't exactly grow food here." Ari added sitting down at the table, his brows deeply furrowed against everything that was going on. It wasn't an easy meeting, deciding the fate of the entire colony.

"What about the dangers? Our colony has been isolated for quite some time. If we are even able to move them, they would need to be quarantined to prevent any disease spread in either group," Faith added, not really objecting, but more wanting to be sure they considered everything. "And what happens next? We would put a larger strain on the resources in Laughlin and it's not exactly a big city..." She had been to Laughlin several times with her brothers and Pierce's father, spent time on the river and everything when she was young. The entire city was about the size of Downtown Vegas. "It would be even more difficult to move a larger group, if we even can find a place to take us in."

"Pffft.. yeah but you see this?" Robin held up his pistol and waved it around so Frank could see it. " I know how to use it, half the people in there are idiots when it comes to~ " BANG. He acccidentally pulled the trigger and instantly the boy lost his balance from his spot and flew backwards. The young man fell on the floor and winced but more importantly he finished his drink so it didnt waste!

When the bullet was fired, Viktors senses instantly reacted and his eyes shot over to see the projectile flying towards the group. His iris instantly flashed blue and with a blink of an eye he swiped his hand to catch the fire arm. " ...I'm afraid of what the others are like if this is how he uses it." Viktor muttered and placed the single bullet on the map table in front of everyone.

"nice catch..."

"Robin, leave" Mateo said simply with an aggrivated tone, they were talking about the fate of the colony here and the homunculus was waving it off like it was some kind of joke.

" But ~ I said leave"

Robin let out a grumble and got back to his feet, he looked pretty irked but he wasnt going to argue with Mateo. Besides, he had better things to do. "Cmon Ari"

"Ari I need you to stay"

"but~ ROBIN okay okay I'm leaving." The young man held up his hands in defense and made his way outside of the strategy room.

" I can see your concern when it comes to moving the colony, but If this is something of your interest. I'm willing to offer any aid. But first, we'll need more than just 6 1/2 to protect the survivors" Viktor counted Robin as the 1/2, if anyone questioned it he would happily reveal why he believed that. At the moment, the young man was more of a danger than anything.

Franks eyes flared up as he ducked under the path of the bullet only to find that the weird new guy who looked like something out of Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter had actually managed to stop it. He reached out for the bullet, a vein in his head throbbing a little bit. "Do you realize how long it'll take me to re-arm this bullet?!?" he shouted out at Robin. Obviously they were dangerously low on ammunition if such a flippant little shot pissed him off.

Faith put a hand on Frank's arm and shot him a warning look; the look that clearly said drop it.

Frank's nostrils flared a little but he calmed himself as Robin finally left the room. "You're bein' too nice... callin' him half," he snarled, his eyes still locked on the door the twerp left out of.

Ari didn't look over at his friend as he was dismissed from the room. He'd warned him time and time again and never did the idea get into the boy's thick skull that he needs to cool it in the SitRoom. Once he was gone, Ari looked back up between Frank and Viktor. "The ability he has is worth about ten of him," he told them, defending his friend before his eyes turned to Mateo for a second, his look to the leader making it clear that he was changing the subject, even without Mateo's permission. Robin, no matter his faults, deserved to be here if his name was being slandered. "What sort of aid would you be able to provide? I've seen you take down an Ultralisk alone and catch a bullet out of thin air... What else can you do, Mister Curser?" he asked, getting right back down to business.

"Viktor is fine, thank you." The stranger replied back to Ari with a humble tone, his eyes looking around to the group around them before offering a meak smile. Of course he needed to introduce himself, he came out of nowhere offering them an outrageous plan. They at least deserved to know who they would be putting their trust in. But first, he needed to see if they were all worth helping. There were colonies that he met along the way that even did more damage than good. Some so afraid of the infections that they would instantly kill any life form even if they were in need of help. A sharp jolt could be felt with Faith and Ari, the females actually being sharper with the sense of their minds being invaded by a strong telepath. Viktor continued to stand there with a blank look, but within matter of seconds the feeling subsided and the man in front of them nodded.

" I'm of hybrid kind.. " Viktor revealed. " Demon and Vampire. Two very aggressive race, making me an excellent predator. However I've learned to conrol my primal senses, luckily the race I've been created from has their perks. A vampires sense, speed and agility.. while my demonic genes specialize in the manipulation of blood." His eyes shifted towards the floor that Robin fell on, therer was a drop of blood that spilled from his fall and with little to no concentration the drop levitated off the floor and slowly made its way towards the stranger. As Viktor showed his gifts, his once blue eyes were now glowing red from the act. " But it isnt what I can do.. but what I know. It's your choice to follow or your choice to stay... but if you dont decide soon, I must be off."

Ari felt the sharp stab in his mind and looked up with a furrowed brow at the new comber. He wasn't a huge fan of unrestricted mental access, and a quick glance at Faith's stunned and angry look told him that she felt it too. The hybrid gritted his teeth until he felt the mental probe withdraw, glaring at Viktor. He didn't like the sudden invasion, with no way of blocking the entry. No matter what times they were under, it was never acceptable to probe someone's mind without permission! Nevertheless, he didn't say anything; not right away. Especially since he figured the other hybrid could destroy them all quite quickly.

Frank rolled his eyes at the display, not really caring what the fuck the creep could do. It was how many Zergs he could fuck up with it that mattered. He didn't feel the probe and just blinked a couple of times, wondering what the hell was going on. "Alright... what do you know then?" he asked, blinking stupidly.

The look in Ari's eye was clear to the demonpire or whatever the hell his kind was called. Everything he thought to himself. Viktor now knew everything about them, about their defenses, about their systems, about their rations and fighting strength. Everything. And if he turned out to betray them, then they were in desperate trouble.

" Your ticket to freedom." Viktor answered and raised a brow to the people around him. " this isnt my first transporting a colony out. Allow me to show you what you need" He made his way towards the table and started to circle random spots around the city, all of which wasnt explored by the team yet. " A working gas station in this corner, towards this lot is where the old school buses are parked. You want a safe transport on getting them out? we'll need check points.. here .. and here. Once we make our first move and our transports of busses leave; it will gain their attention. Thats why we need to lead them here.. and here.. "

" We can secure those spots with explosives.." Mateo recalled a few from the inventory and eyed Frank to confirm what he was referring to. " we can travel the tunnels until we get to the nearest man hole, place the cargos in the designated check points. That way when we travel by the bus, we can shoot them as targets for an advantage."

" Precisely. We may be out numbered by them, but we're far more intelligent. they can be out smarted." Viktor added. " Their primary role is to survive.."

"....and we're going to need more than what we have to defend the busses." The leader gritted his teeth and peaked over to catch Aris gaze. " ...prepare a militia."

Frank simply nodded at Mateo's question. Blowing shit up wouldn't be a problem. Since they finished building the undercity, there hadn't been much need for it and he was stingy, never wanting to take out only a couple Zergs with such powerful weapons.

Ari turned back to Mateo and gave a curt nod, like he was accepting an order. "How are we provisioned on firearms?" he asked towards Frank, his expression serious now that business was at hand.

Frank shrugged, pulling a toothpick out of his pocket and sticking it between his teeth disdainly. "We got about a hundred weapons, most of them small arms and enough ammunition to get us there IF we don't waste any."

"Right, I'll make sure that every able-bodied man is..."

"Wait... man?" Faith asked raising a brow at the military-hippie.

It didn't take long to cave to THAT look. He put his hands up defensively. "Alright, alright... every able-bodied person is given some time on the target range this afternoon," he replied, nodding again curtly towards Mateo.

Frank just laughed and held up his hand, flicking it outward and making a whipping sound, "Waaapsssshhh."

Mateo ignored the banters between his team mate at the moment, he often time joined in but given the current situation the leader was focused on what they needed to do. He gave Ari a soft smile when he agreed to do what he asked then turned to the stranger with a somewhat serious expression. " your welcomed to stay here Viktor, we dont have much but we do have shelter and food. Food being a relative term.."

" Even though I'm hybrid kind, I don't eat the same as everyone here..."

What Viktor said actually made the leader uneasy, his bright eyes that resembled his fathers panned over to his team wondering what they thought of having a vampire in the base.

" I'm able to survive without blood." Viktor added. " but I'll need a substitution. Wine."

" Well your in luck, Robin just salvaged a couple cargos of those. Frank, confiscate the ones in Robins inventory and supply Viktor for the days to come. hopefully we'll get most of the objectives completed before we're completely depleted. I suspsect it'll make times even more difficult for Viktor if we do."

"Thank you.."Viktor nodded his head softly towards the group. " I'll try my best to stay out of the way"
